This multi-rate BiDi SFP transceiver series delivers single-fiber bidirectional optical transmission via WDM wavelength multiplexing technology, supporting full speed ranges: 155Mbps (OC-3/STM-1), 1.25Gbps (Gigabit Ethernet), 2.5Gbps (OC-48/STM-16), max operating rate up to 2.67Gbps. As cost-saving single fiber SFP modules, BiDi transceivers cut fiber cabling consumption by 50%, perfectly solving fiber resource shortage problems for ISP, campus, data center and metro carrier networks.
All BiDi SFP modules fully comply with SFP MSA and SFF-8472 DDM digital diagnostic standards, compatible with SDH/SONET synchronous transport, Gigabit Ethernet and Multi-Rate Fibre Channel protocols. The product portfolio covers short 3km, medium 20/40km and ultra-long 60/80/120km single-mode fiber reach, available in commercial temperature (0~70℃) and industrial temperature (-40~85℃) versions. Important Note for BiDi SFP
BiDi single fiber SFP transceivers must be used in matched A/B pairs: A-type module transmits short wavelength (1310nm/1490nm) while B-type transmits complementary long wavelength (1550nm). Mismatched wavelength pairs will cause communication failure.
