The 40G QSFP+ transceiver is a cost-effective 4-channel NRZ fiber optic solution built for legacy and hybrid data center networks, 40G Ethernet links and InfiniBand SDR/DDR/QDR systems. This standard 40G QSFP+ optical module fully complies with IEEE 802.3ba and SFF-8436 QSFP+ MSA specifications, adopting two mature optical architectures: 4 parallel VCSEL lanes for multimode short-reach models and 4 CWDM multiplex/demultiplex lanes for single-mode long-reach variants.

Our full lineup of 40GBASE QSFP+ fiber transceivers covers complete short, medium and long-distance transmission scenarios, including multimode SR4 / ESR4 / SRBD, parallel single-mode IR4PSM / LR4PSM, and CWDM single-mode IR4 / LR4 / extended-reach ER4 up to 40km reach. Two standard connector options (MPO-12 and duplex LC) support MMF multimode fiber and SMF single-mode fiber respectively, delivering plug-and-play interoperability with mainstream switches, routers, storage and high-performance computing equipment.

Every 40G QSFP+ DDM transceiver features low power consumption, electrically hot-pluggable design and built-in digital diagnostic monitoring, supporting real-time tracking of optical power, temperature, voltage and laser bias for easy network maintenance. With commercial operating temperature from 0°C to 70°C, these 40G fiber modules remain stable for rack-to-rack interconnection, proprietary optical backplanes and telecom metro transmission links.
